SOUTHWESTERN illinois democratic women
Southwestern Illinois Democratic Women (SWIDW) is a grass-roots organization whose purpose is advancing the election of democratic candidates and working for more equitable representation and participation of Democratic women in all levels of the Democratic Party and in all levels of government. SWIDW works to fulfill this purpose through educational programs, fundraising activities, and campaign assistance to the Democratic Party and its candidates.
SWIDW holds a meeting the first Wednesday of every month (except July and December). The meeting is located at the IFT Building, 4 Executive Drive, Fairview Heights. The meetings start at 6:30 p.m. We designate an organization to collect in-kind donations for at each meeting. Membership is not required to attend a meeting, all are welcome!
